All these pictures were drawn using the information stored in an Object Oriented Data Base (Objectivity) and using Root code & libraries. The code was extremely simple thanks to, both, Objectivity and Root, interfaces. You may have a look at it in:
/afs/cern.ch/user/i/iglezh/public/CMSIM/DetDraw.cpp
To execute and play with this (you need an Objectivity account) just run the DetDraw.exe file in /afs/cern.ch/user/i/iglezh/public/CMSIM from suncms.
